游离酸是指在溶液中未结合的酸性成分，例如以HF计的氟化物、以硝酸计的硝酸羟胺水溶液中的游离酸，或肥料在水溶液中析出的游离硫酸、游离硝酸、游离盐酸和游离磷酸。其含量是衡量副产品硫酸铵或产品纯度的关键指标。
