氧化膜是金属表面通过腐蚀或阳极氧化等工艺形成的氧化物层，如Cr2O3、Fe3O4、Al2O3等。其致密性和稳定性决定材料的耐腐蚀性能；在铜线表面主要由Cu?O和CuO组成。在静止空气中高温形成时，氧化膜可能具有保护性或非保护性特征。常见的舌状表面缺陷是一种氧化膜脱落现象，表现为一侧与基体金属相连的剥落。
