雷电防护区是定义了雷电电磁环境的区域，其边界不一定是物理边界（如墙壁、地板和天花板）。它按电磁兼容原理，将需要保护的空间由外到内划分为不同区域，以计算并确定各空间的雷击电磁场强度及应采取相应的屏蔽措施。
