镀层质量是指产品两个表面上的镀层总质量，以克每平方米（g/m?）表示。该指标包括产品两侧镀层的总质量，单位为克每平方米。对于铜、青铜或黄铜镀层，镀层质量以其径向测量的厚度来表征。锌和/或锌合金镀层的总质量同样以单位表面积上的质量表示。
