木材保护剂是包含活性成分或制剂的化学品，用于预防或补救木材及木制品受木材腐朽或变色生物的攻击或侵害。活性成分特性可防止或抑制木材破坏性或木材变色有机体的侵害。还包括生物保护剂、防火剂、防潮剂及其复合制剂，用于保护木材免受生物侵害或环境因素损伤。
