好氧发酵是在充分供氧条件下，利用好氧微生物分解有机物料的过程，产生大量有效氮、磷、钾化合物和腐殖质；通过微生物的好氧呼吸作用，使有机废物生物降解，生成稳定腐熟产物的堆肥处理方法。
