自动交换光网络（Automatically Switched Optical Network）是一种使用控制平面提供连接服务的动态光网络，由ITU-T建议G.807/Y.1302和G.8080/Y.1304规定。该光网络控制方法能够自动建立、维护和拆除光路径连接，支持自动建立、修改和释放光连接的功能。具有控制平面的光网络架构支持动态建立和释放光连接，以及交换连接和软永久连接。
