It gives recommendations for suitable and practical application, flawless production, monitoring, quality assurance and non-destructive and destructive testing on components and witness samples. It describes details of possible adverse effects that may occur and gives hints on how to prevent such effects. Allowable loading of the coating and quality assessment groups are not subject of this International Standard, as they depend on operating conditions. This International Standard can be used for contractual purposes.
