氨水是稀释的氨水溶液，通常为无色透明液体，具强烈刺激臭。其比重随含氨量变化，常见规格为28%和25%（比重分别为约0.90和0.91）。作为还原剂可用于烟气脱硝（浓度18%-25%），以雾化方式喷入与氮氧化物反应。氨水也用作化肥和食品添加剂（源自液氨），还用于洗涤过滤器残留物以去除试剂残留。
