平台即服务是一种云服务类别，其中提供给云服务客户的云能力类型是平台能力类型，支持他们使用CSP支持的一种或多种编程语言和执行环境来部署、管理和运行云应用程序；为VNF提供支持（如通知管理器），是云计算中提供部署、管理和运行应用程序能力的服务模式。
