顺序统计量是将容量为n的样本元素按值非递减顺序排列后第k个位置的样本值。设样本观测值为x1, x2, ..., xn，按非递减顺序排列为x[1] ≤ x[2] ≤ ... ≤ x[n]，则第k个顺序统计量为x[k]，它根据位置识别样本中的特定值，广泛用于非参数统计分析。
