铬(VI)即六价铬，是铬元素在特定条件下的存在形态，具有毒性和环境：。在水质分析中，铬(VI)与1,5-二苯基卡巴肼反应生成红色络合物；在肥料和石灰肥料中作为有毒重金属形态，可通过方法A（分光光度法）或方法B（离子色谱法）测定。亦指颜料和填料中溶于盐酸的六价铬化合物。
