远场指光纤出射光在一定距离处的光强分布图案，通过测量图案的半角宽度来计算数值孔径。在天线领域，远场是指天线电磁场中角度分布基本上与距离无关的区域，通常距离大于2D?/λ（D为天线最大尺寸，λ为波长）。在光学波导中，当美利体育登录入口官网平面距离波导端面远大于模场直径时，光场分布形状不随距离变化。
