负载损耗是变压器在负载条件下产生的功率损耗，通常指额定电流流过绕组时的铜耗（I?R损耗），用Pk表示。它是合同保证和惩罚的对象，也是评估总服务成本和投资的重要因素。负载损耗包括绕组I?R损耗、涡流损耗、杂散磁通引起的损耗以及并联绕组或并联绕组股线中循环电流引起的损耗。该损耗与电流的平方成正比。
