自锁是指硬件中通过螺纹设计或嵌入元件实现的防止松动的特性。在紧固件中，自锁确保螺母在振动或动态载荷下保持固定；在齿轮系统中，自锁状态指齿轮内部产生的摩擦力足以阻止传动链中任何构件的运动。自锁功能提高了连接的可靠性和安全性。
