矿化是将样品中的有机物质转化为无机形式（如将有机硒转化为硒亚离子、使铅转化为可溶性无机铅）的过程，可通过干灰化、加压湿法消解或微波湿法消解实现，也是有机物在土壤中被微生物分解为二氧化碳、水和其他矿物质的生物降解过程。
