监测区是包括发生区和潜在发生区，用于垂序商陆的监测工作。在整个生育期，用作调查亩基本苗、主茎叶龄、茎蘖数以及有效穗数等的固定生产区域；开展监测的行政区划内的一枝黄花适生区，包括发生区和潜在发生区；开展监测的行政区划内的黄顶菊适生区；开展监测行政区划内的刺萼龙葵适生区，以县级行政区域作为发生区与潜在发生区划分的基本单位；指开展少花蒺藜草监测的适生区域，以县级行政区域为基本单位进行划分。
