物理接触是一种光纤连接器插芯端面接触方式，要求插芯端面之间形成紧密的物理接触以最小化插入损耗。该光纤连接器端面抛光方式使插芯端面呈球形抛光，实现物理接触以减少反射。物理接触通过精密几何形状实现直接接触的状态，减少连接处的回波损耗和衰减。
