熔接是一种通过加热或加压，或两者同时使用，使金属材料连接在一起的工艺技术。它包括手动熔接、自动电弧熔接、电渣熔接等，需符合标准确认之施工方法。熔接也指光纤电缆的熔接过程，将两根光纤永久连接在一起，通常通过熔接机加热光纤端面使其融合，是光纤管理中的关键操作。将储槽各部件连接在一起的施工方法，包括对接熔接、角隅熔接等。要求损耗低于 0.1 dB。
