比例是原图所示线性尺寸与物体实际尺寸的比值。在图纸、地图、平面图、模型中，用于表示图形与实物相应线性尺寸之比；也是建立物理量空间表示到数学空间表示的唯一映射，用于识别物理量实例的实体，代表用于识别元素的计量单位、坐标系和某种编码方法。
