杂散电流腐蚀是指由外部电流源（如直流牵引系统、阴极保护系统等）流入或流出钢筋或预应力钢，导致金属发生电解腐蚀的现象。它是由交流和直流电气干扰引起的埋地或浸没管道系统外表面的腐蚀，这些外部电源产生的电流流入土壤并进入地下结构，在电流流出的位置导致局部腐蚀。
