曝光指数是与提供给图像传感器以获得图像的曝光量成反比的数值。在数字X射线成像系统中，进一步指从获得的图像参考区域内测得的探测器信号对辐射的响应值，是量化探测器辐射响应和评估图像曝光水平的度量。
