操作概念是从将使用该系统的个人的角度描述预期系统特性的文档。它是一种用户导向文档，从用户角度描述系统特性，定义如何操作和管理建筑自动化系统的规划和设计。符合ISO/IEC/IEEE 29148格式，描述系统如何被构想和运作。用户也借此定义如何利用特定系统在组织内执行操作活动。
