指单位质量或体积的燃料在完全燃烧时释放的能量，扣除用于蒸发所产生的所有水分所需能量。在恒压或恒条件下，所有燃烧产物（包括水）均为气态，所得值为反应释放的绝对比能量。该指标用于衡量固体、液体或气体燃料的燃烧效率，是评价燃料能量品质的标准参数之一。
