二甲基乙酰胺是一种无色、可燃、低毒、高沸点的有机溶剂（沸点约165°C），化学式为CH3CON(CH3)2。主要工业应用是溶解弹性纤维、氨纶等特定聚合物，质量损失法测定混合物中的氨纶含量。在定量化学分析中用于温度固定条件下（如50℃以下持续搅拌）选择性溶解弹性纤维。也作为极性非质子溶剂在有机合成、制药及高分子工业中广泛应用。
