防火涂料是具有防火效率并用于各种对象防火保护的防火涂料或材料。在防火保护对象表面经处理后形成的防火剂层。涂敷于钢结构表面，通过膨胀或非膨胀机理提高构件耐火极限的特种涂料，分为超薄型、薄型和厚型。涂覆于可燃基材表面用于阻火的材料。涂覆在不锈钢芯板表面的防火材料。涂覆在钢结构表面以提高其耐火性能的材料，符合GB 14907的规定。
